Written between 2019 and 2021, Scrine and Andrew Huhtanen McEwan brought together their experiences as songwriters along with Scrine’s experiences as a therapist and academic in music therapy. Sentimental Still – as a result – is an album that for Scrine, a dedication to the nuances of the human condition and a therapeutic process of exploring different forms of connection and separation, with care.
