The A&R Department
Established in 2007 The A&R Department is Australia’s longest running Label services platform and has been dedicated to supporting emerging Australian artists, ensuring that their creative and business practices align with their musical ambition. The A&R Department is constantly seeking out new ways to expand the reach of Australian independent music and to find the ears of audiences around the globe. The A&R Department looks to work with passionate and innovative individuals, both with the musicians and companies they work with. Within the ever-changing dynamics of the music industry, there’s one thing that has never changed, and that is the art of writing a special song.
Our current team have been working together for a few years now and collaborate well together on all releases. We are all passionate music people with the skills and knowledge to help artists develop on many fronts. For example: Publicity campaigns, A&R advice with songs and/or production contacts, Label Manager advice and coordination with your release strategy, Distribution, Publishing and Sync pitching and Accounting and Legal contacts.
