INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

AIR’s Women in music mentor program was delighted to hold a special event yesterday (8th March, 2022) to celebrate International Women’s day. The day opened with a breakfast by the One of One team, featuring a keynote by Emma Donovan, performances by Ajak Kwai, June Jones and a poem by Charlotte Abroms. This was followed by the Women In Music Mentor Program’s line up of speakers and professional development sessions for its Victorian mentees and mentors. The program included a keynote and in-conversation with Kate Ceberano and Milly Petriella, special performance by Chelsea Wilson who was a mentee in the program in 2020 with Monique Dimattina on keys. It also included sessions on Leadership and Goal Setting, Financial Literacy, How to Have Difficult Conversations, Resilience and Mental Heath.

AIR’s Women in Music Program will hold one in-person event in each capital city in the next 12 months so that mentees and mentors in each state can attend a face-to-face session in their capital city.

AIR’s Women in Music Mentor Program will open its next round of applications in June 2022. To find out more about our mentor program please visit our website here.

We encourage anyone at any stage of their career to apply. Whether you are just starting out or looking to take your career to the next level, all applications will be considered.
