This Week in the Charts - 25th May, 2025

This week in the charts we have debuts from Genesis Owusu, Rose Carleo Band, Necko, Public House, Mosaic, Hussy Hicks & Gordi.

Genesis Owusu took out #1 across both the Independent Label Albums chart & The 100% Independent Albums chart with ‘REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE’. 

Rose Carleo Band took out #2 across both Albums Charts with’42 Days’.

Necko took out #4 on the 100% Independent Albums Chart & #6 on the Independent Label Albums chart with ‘Necko II’. 

Public House took out #6 & #11 with ‘Future’.

‘Rinse and Repeat’  from Mosaic took out #9 & #11.

Hussy Hicks also welcomed a debut at #16 on the 100% Independent Albums chart with ‘Bluesfest desk tapes 2018-2024’.

Over on the singles charts the latest release from Hussy Hicks featuring Kristy Lee ‘I’ve Got An Ache’, took out #2 across both the 100% Independent Singles Charts & the Independent Label Singles Charts.

Gordi secured #3 across both singles charts also with ‘Nylon - EP’ & Vika & Linda took out #19 on the 100% Independent Singles chart with their latest single "Bliss'.
