SOUNDS AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCE TRADE MISSIONS

Sounds Australia has opened expressions for interest for a number of upcoming international trade missions for Australian music industry professionals.

These trade missions cover three separate events: All About Music in Mumbai, India, AXEAN Festival in Bali, Indonesia and MUSICMEX in Mexico City, Mexico.

For each of these, successful applicants will receive a contribution towards international flights, accommodation covered for the official delegation dates at the designated hotel, and gain access to Sounds Australia networking opportunities and the event’s program of activity, panels, and market insights designed to deepen understanding of that particular country’s music industry and create meaningful partnership opportunities in the region.

Mumbai, India | AUGUST 23-28 

All About Music is India’s leading music B2B conference—bringing together creators, industry experts, and key decision-makers who shape the sound of the nation. It’s also where global executives come to explore one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic music markets.

Applications are open to music industry professionals who are members of the Association of Artist Managers (AAM), Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), Australian Independent Record Label Association (AIR), Australian Live Music Business Council (ALMBC), Australasian Music Publishers’ Association Limited (AMPAL) or Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA) | Complete an EOI HERE

Bali, Indonesia | AUGUST 28-31

The AXEAN Festival is a prominent Southeast Asian music export platform, combining a music conference and showcase festival. Over five editions, it has featured 200 artists from 20 countries, attracted 240 delegates from 32 countries, and reached over 46,000 virtual viewers, along with close to 15,000 live attendees. The AXEAN Festival Trade Mission is supported by the ASEAN-Australia Centre.

This Expression of Interest is for Australian-based Booking Agents and must be completed by a senior representative who has the authority to speak on behalf of your agency as a whole—ideally the Director, CEO, Head of Agency, or another executive leader. Complete an EOI HERE

MUSICMEX 
Mexico City, Mexico | NOVEMBER 1-7

MUSICMEX is a new music market taking place from November 4 -6, in Mexico City. Designed to connect professionals and artists from the global music industry with the Mexican music market, attendees will have direct access to a variety of influential artists, venues, and platforms that have positioned Mexico as one of the most important countries on the global cultural stage. The MUSICMEX Trade Mission is coordinated in partnership with the Association of Artist Managers (AAM). Applications are open to Australian-based artist managers who are members of the AAM.
