This Week In The Charts – 9 October 2023

This week in the charts we have debuts from Dope Lemon, James Johnston, Luca Brasi, Make Them Suffer, Kate Cebrano, Steve Kilbey and Sean Sennett, Tania Doko, Felicity Urquhart, Josh Cunningham, King Stingray, Chillinit, Sunk Loto, Lotte Gallagher, Patrick Wilson, and Alex Albrecht. 

Debuting at #1 on the Independent Label albums is Dope Lemon with ‘Kimosabe’, and also secured #16 on the Independent Label Singles charts with ‘Miami Baby’.

James Johnston secured #2 on the Independent Label Album charts with ‘Raised Like That’. 

Luca Brasi’s latest album ‘The World Don’t Owe You Anything’ secured #4 on the Independent Label charts; Make Them Suffer securing #5 with ‘Neverbloom’, and Kate Ceberano Steve Kilbey and Sean Sennett secured #6 with ‘The Dangerous Age’ and ‘Bird Song’ by Felicity Urquhart, Josh Cunningham secured #11.

Tania Doko secured #2 on the 100% Independent Albums charts with ‘The Beauty’s in the Broken’  and #9 on the Independent Album charts. 

Patrick Wilson secured #4 on the 100% Independent Album charts with ‘It’ll Be Alright’, and Alex Albrecht secured #11 with ‘Violet Visonary’. 

Sunk Loto secured #7 on the 100% Independent Singles charts with ‘The Gallows Wait’ as well as #12 on the Independent Label Singles charts.

Lotte Gallagher secured #19 on the 100% Independent Singles charts with ‘Adam’. 

Chillinit secured #15 on the Independent Label Singles charts with ‘Boys Light Up’ and King Stingray secured #19 with ‘Down Under’.
