This Week In The Charts – 31 July 2023
This week in the charts we have debuts from Short Stack, Taj Farrant, ABC Classics, TISM, Deadlights, Triple Kill, Bad Juju, We Are Emergency, and Die In A Dream.
Securing #1 on the Independent Label Albums charts was ‘Classic 100: Your Favourite Instrument’ from ABC Classics.
Short Stack debuted at #2 on the Independent Label Album charts, with ‘Stack Is The New Black’ following the release of the 2009 album for the very first time on Vinyl.
TISM entered the Independent Label Album charts, debuting at #3, while jumping from #14 the previous week on the 100% Independent Album charts to #1 this week.
Deadlights debuted at #3 on the 100% Independent Album charts with ‘Tired Eyes, Restless Mind’ and #9 on the Independent Label Album charts; while We Are The Emergency entered the charts with ‘Seizure’ following the release of both for the first time on vinyl via Summit Distro.
The First Kill took out #7 on the 100% Independent Album charts and #11 on the Independent Album charts with ‘The First Kill – Mini LP’.
Bad Juju’s debut album ‘Blue Heaven’ debuted at #6 on the 100% Independent Album charts and #13 on the Independent Label Album charts.
Die In A Dream secured a debut at #15 on the 100% Independent Album charts with ‘The Liminal’
Taj Farrant debuted at #5 on the 100% Independent Singles charts and #10 on the Independent Label Singles charts with ‘Crossroads’
