This Week In The Charts – 8 May, 2023

This week in the charts we have debuts from Mirrors; 360 & Ally Rendall, Bryson Hill, Kirsty Lee Akers, ​​Adam Miller, Sweeney,  That Kid Kearve, Ngulmiya, James Johnston, Luude & Bru-C, Andrew Swift, Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, Teenage Joans, VOIID, Paul Kelly, Tommy Emmanuel, and Sunfruits.

Mirrors secured a #1 debut on the 100% Independent Singles Charts and #4 on the Independent Label Singles Charts with ‘Cold Sanctuary’.

360 and Ally Randall secured a #2 debut on the 100% Independent Singles Charts and #5 on the Independent Label Singles Charts with ‘Lose It’.

Bryson Hill debuted at #3 on the 100% Independent Singles Charts and #6 on the Independent Label Singles Chart with ‘Ibiza or Ibiza’.

Kirsty Lee Akers debuted at #9 on the 100% Independent Singles chart with her latest single ‘Getting Over You’; Luude & Bru-C secured a #17 debut with ‘TMO (Turn Me On)’.

Andrew Swift secured a #1 debut on the Independent Label Album Charts with ‘Lightning Strikes and Neon Nights’. Tom Cardy secured a #2 debut on the same charts with ‘Big Dumb Idiot’. 

Cash Savage and the Last Drinks achieved #6 on the Independent Label Album Charts with ‘So This Is Love’, while Teenage Joans secured #7 with ‘Taste of Me’. VOIID secured #10 with ‘Watering Dead Flowers’; Paul Kelly’s latest album ‘Poetry’ debuted at #11, Tommy Emmanuel debuted at #18 with ‘Accomplice Two’ and Sunfruits secured #19 with ‘One Degree’.

Adam Miller debuted at #6 on the 100% Independent Albums charts with ‘Beyond Reason’; Sweeney secured #8 with ‘Corporeal’, That Kid Kearve achieved #15 with ‘Independent’, and Ngulmiya with their self-titled rounded out the charts with a debut at #20.
