This Week In The Charts – 24 April, 2023
This week in the charts we have debuts from Jason Owen and Tania Kernaghan, Paul Kelly, Go-Jo, The Wolfe Brothers, Kisschasy, Frenzal Rhomb, Vance Joy, The Wiggles, Margaret Brandman, Terry, & Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice.
On both the 100% Independent Singles and Independent Label Singles charts #1 was taken out by Jason Owen and Tania Kernaghan with ‘Let Your Love Flow’.
Paul Kelly Secured #8 on the 100% Independent Singles chart and #17 on the Independent Label Singles Chart with ‘Alone With You’.
Go-Jo debuted for the very first time at #18 on Independent Label Singles chart and #8 on the 100% Independent Singles charts with his latest track ‘Mrs Hollywood’.
In the 100% Independent Albums chart we had Margaret Brandman debut at #3 with ‘Binna Burra Dreaming’; Terry with ‘Call Me Terry’ securing a debut at #4 and Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice secured a #6 debut for ‘Bubble’.
In the Independent Label Albums chart The Wolfe Brothers secured a #1 debut for ‘Livin’ The Dream’; Kisschasy entered the charts with their 2005 album ‘United Paper People’ debuting at #2. Frenzal Rhomb secured a #4 debut for their latest release ‘The Cup Of Pestilence’, Vance Joy secured #7 with his ‘Live at Sydney Opera House’ release, and The Wiggles secured a #9 debut for their latest release ‘Ready, Steady, Wiggle!’.
