A song about realising and appreciating one’s own self-worth, both in and outside of a relationship, ‘tell ur friends’ comes as a co-write between Dulcie and songwriter Chris Chidiac (Polarheart). Following on from their 2021 releases ‘Sake of Sound’ and ‘Ethereal’ from debut EP SAKE OF SOUND, Dulcie taps into a sense of matured songwriting that fits perfectly with preceding efforts. The final result is an infectious and captivating new hit of indie-pop music that keeps the core sound of Dulcie well at the forefront.
“This song came about a bit like Frankenstein – with various bits and bobs picked from previous half-written songs and merged together with a song co-written with Chris Chidiac. It’s about that awkward “what are we” phase in a relationship and the inner knowing of your own self-worth.”
